In less than 3 weeks time we head off for New Ireland PNG for six months working with Australian Doctor's International (ADI). ADI have been working in the NI Province for 3 years at the request of the governor with the aim of improving health outcomes. We will be participating in patrols to outlying Health Centres and Aid Posts - with education and primary care being the main focuses.
Last minute jobs for us are piling up very rapidly. We have been before so know what to expect and what we will need to take but it is amazing how much still needs to be thought about, talked about and organised.
